Ancient Rulers of Britain – Raedwald
Artist: Duncan Wilson
Project: Ancient Rulers of Britain
Website: Wellington, Drawe!
Welcome to a new feature here at Creaturemag – The prolific Illustrator, Duncan Wilson, famous for his Pixie Tuesdays is to join the Creature ranks to bring you an interesting new feature with an educational slant.
Duncan says: Raedwald, ancient ‘Bretwalda’ or ‘Britain Ruler’. What happened to him? Why did his burial mound at Sutton Hoo contain his ship and his treasures, but no trace of a body?
In this ongoing series we explore the hidden fates of Raedwald and other Ancient Rulers of Britain!
We hope you enjoy the show.
