Exciting times are these. It seems David Litchfield and Matt Witt are preparing to embark on an exciting new collaboration. Matt Witt has written a book of sorts, more of a long poem really, or a short story, a splendid little tale about a special little onion, called Oscar.

Matt sent his story off to David and David fell in love with it so much so that he decided he would bring the book to life with his wonderful illustrations.

So, over the next few weeks and months we will be revealing to you, a little bit at a time, the story of Oscar the Onion by Matt Witt, brought into glorious technicolour by the hand of David Litchfield.

This week we will tempt you with David’s first concept drawing. Next time we will tell you a bit more about the story, how it came about and what our plans are for publishing.
