Interview: Lisa Doubleyou

Artist: Lisa Doubleyou
Website: www.lisadoubleyou.com
Lisa is an artist based near Birmingham U.K. Lisa has had exhibitions based inside and outside the U.K, and has had work published in various newspapers and magazines.
She is currently engaged in getting messy with Paint, Ink, and her favourite medium Melted Wax. You can also see her work around different City streets if you know what you are looking for.
Creature asked her a few questions:
What do you do?
I am an artist who has learnt to channel my emotions into my work, honoring those i’ve lost by carrying on.
Why do you do it?
This helps me to get in touch with what is going on at a deeper level and helps me to deal with issues that are hard to verbalise. This is the only thing that’s worked so far. I’m feeling better.
Who are your influences?
I am a self confessed lyric and quote whore.
What inspires your work?
Life and emotions.

What do you like?
I like cafes, coffee and people watching.
What don’t you like?
I don’t like big things such as horses, big dogs and i am uncomfortable with the unknown.
