I make these
creatures using discarded
fabrics, old leather and fur
coats turned inside out, i
use found objects both in
the construction of the forms
and as stuffing, along with
single trigger words twisted
from strands of wire. the
final pieces are x-rayed to
reveal the layers and the
photgraphs displayed on lightboxes
- ilike the contrast of the
clinical an the hand made.
These creatures have become
like actors on a set, i use
them in intsallations, creating
new sets and situations.
