Essence of Love

In a routine
On a dim note
Today too unfolds.
Yesterday
Unsure though
Passed off
Somehow.

The journey
Of the orphans
On the paths
Of orphaned life
Remain uncertain;
Undernourished
And shattered.

Hunger …
Without mercy
Knocks at will,
The tiny palms
Seek alms
Pleading fate
To shower mercy
An iota at least.

Forced by hunger
Ignored by society,
Ultimately
They end-up
As child laborers.
Unstable, unsure
Devoid of any hope
To see a bright dawn
They calmly drown
Into vacuum’s ocean.

Isolated by love
Longing for love
Displaced,
Abandoned,
On a dismal note,
Thrown to own fate
Pitiful….
How do they cope
The hassles of life
Alone, unacquainted,
While childishness
Repeatedly gets hacked.
Oh God !!!
Motivate humanity
With the essence of love
For co-humans.
