Freak of the week with David Litchfield
Artist: David Litchfield
Project: Freak of the week
Website: www.davidlitchfieldillustration.com
An educational Freak from illustrator extraordinaire, David Litchfield. Entitled: ‘George ‘The Animal’ Steele playing Tor Johnson playing Lobo.’
David says: George ‘The Animal’ Steele was a wrestler from the 60′s and 70′s who couldn’t talk and used to eat the foam out of the ring cushions……In the mid 1990′s he was cast by director Tim Burton to play the role of Tor Johnson in the film ‘Ed Wood’.
Tor Johnson was a Swedish wrestler who played the character ‘Lobo’ in Ed Wood’s fantastically shit film ‘Bride of The Monster’. He also plays the role of Inspector Dan Clay in ‘Plan 9 From Outer Space’.
Have a good week.
