CREATUREMAG FRIENDSHIP THEME - CALL FOR CREATIVE FRIENDS - An ongoing theme.
Creaturemag 9 is themed around friendship and is being released as lots of little hits of friendly creativity to keep your creative taste buds tingling. There have been a number of releases to date and we have had such a lovely response that we have decided to make this an ongoing theme open to anybody who would like to get involved, collaborate with their friends and create their very own Creaturemag page. Please read on to find out more.
Each of the releases consits of one long page and is dedicated
to showing the work of a different creative person or persons, group of
friends or creative collective.

The Friendship Theme
Creature is interested in friendship from an artistic point of view,
inspirational and passionate relationships.
On a broad scale it’s about being inspired by the people around us, to
narrow that thought down it’s about the intricacies and intimacies of the
relationships we maintain and the sprouts of creativity that protrude from
these involvements, whether positive or negative, happy or sad.
As always there is an emphasis on collaboration, we encourage you to
collaborate with a friend in the creation of your page.
If you would like to fill a page with your interpretation of the theme,
please first consider the guidelines below.
Friendship Guidelines
We dislike imposing restrictions on creativity but for the sake of easy
digestion and consistency within the pages of Creaturemag we would like you to follow these guidelines:
- We are encouraging expressions of interest from Illustrators, but are
open to all ideas.
- The theme is Friendship, you may collaborate with friends, but you
don’t have to!
- Contributors will be given one Creaturemag page to fill with your
interpretation of the theme.
- The work submitted must be original and created especially for this
edition of Creaturemag.
- The proposed idea must lend itself to the long horizontally scrolling
pages of creature. H:600px
W: as long as you like.
Please click here to view previous releases on the friendship theme to get an idea of page layout and the kind of work we like to publish.
To get involved please send a brief email to creature@creaturemag.com introducing yourself and you / your friends work, telling us why you would like to get involved and what you may do with your edition of Creatuemag.
