Seeking artists, writers, bloggers...

We are expanding and looking for iIllustrators and writers with creative ideas for regular blog posts on the independent / alternative arts theme with an emphasis on drawing and illustration.

We are seeking proactive people with:
- A bit of spare time
- A passion for the arts
- The desire to publish your work / opinions and to highlight talented creative people and their work.

In particular we are looking for illustrators to create weekly / bi weekly illustrations especially for Creature along a theme of the artists choice. Please check the Creature blog to get an idea of the Creature aesthetic and to check out the artists already contributing.

We would also like to meet people interested in writing in the following areas:

- DIY arts - Interesting projects, collaborations, zines.

- Music (folk and independent artist interviews, reviews and articles)

- Below the radar culture (zineshows, fete's, alternative scene)

Creaturemag is your platform. There is an emphasis on DIY, collaboration and the promotion of visually stimulating, weird, quirky creative output. We are open to all ideas and will respond to all who express interest.

Contact: creature@creaturemag.com to pitch your ideas.

We also have some more specific artistic / collaborative opportunities:

Exquisite Corpse

Show us your Corpse. Get together with your friends, create an exquisite corpse and send it to use, we'll publish it right here in Creaturemag. Click here to read the brief.

Friendship Theme - Call for creative friends

This is an ongoing theme here at Creaturemag. Collaborate with your friends on your very own creaturemag edition. Each release consists of one long page and is dedicated to showing the work of a different creative person or persons, group of friends or creative collective. Click here to read the brief.

Design a banner for Creature

As part of the launch of the new Creature web site we are calling for creative types to get involved and have a real impact on how the new Creaturemag web site looks.
