Nowadays we get a Labyrinth every month from Marc M Gusta, always refreshing and challenging. This month Fred is lost in the desert, thirsty and on the brink of death you must guide him through his hallucinations to his oasis (we hope it is not a mirage), where he can get his fill of the life giving juice. Simple as that!

Marc and his imagination have been very busy these past few months and we are very happy to have him back on the pages of Creaturemag with this new piece which I hope gives you some insight into the creative workings of this man’s brain.
Get lost in Marc’s Labyrinth, journey through imagination in search of that golden idea.

We are happy to announce that today is extra special… today is Marc’s birthday… HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARC.
We are glad you are alive! And we are glad we can celebrate your birthday with the publication of a new Labyrinth.
Welcome to Marc M Gusta’s Labyrinths. This week Marc entices you into another of his rather expansive dreams, last time we had Dream of Red Fruits, today, a Dream of Four Buddhas. It is claimed that if one were to accept the challenge to embark on a journey through this labyrinth and manage to successfully navigate it, he/she would become fully enlightened. It will require a clear and sharp mind, an agile body and determination by the prayerful.
Lay down your path through the narrow corridors of this maze, answer correctly the questions of Buddha and you may proceed on your way to enlightenment. Beware of the spider who sits in wait to thwart your efforts. We think there are links here to myths involving Buddha and a spider, if you want to google it.
Marc creates truly original and groundbreaking artwork. Click here to see the whole series of Labyrinths. You can see how his ideas and methods have developed and flourished. He is an artist and thinker of a very high calibre and his work should be paraded for the masses to indulge in, or sink through or just get totally lost within. There is a lot more to come from this man, so watch this space.

Marc M Gusta – Dream Of Red Fruits

I love introducing Marc’s Labyrinths, they are so very inspiring. I enjoy burying my head in his world for a while and exploring my reactions. This week brings us the Dream of Red Fruits Labyrinth. Outstanding stuff as always, Marc has taken a slightly more painterly approach with a nice water colour wash that really brings out the red fruits and enhances the dreamy landscapes and characters. Those surreal creatures really do leap out and grab you. If this is based on one of Marc’s dreams then I fear he may have been eating too much of something or other!
We invite you to drift off into Marc’s dream world, solve the puzzles and navigate your way around this surreal landscape and it’s inhabitants. Be careful not be drawn into Freddy krueger’s nightmare as you make the final dash to the real world and your waking hours.
We’ll see you in the morning. We hope!

Marc M Gusta – Heaven and Hell Pt II
Artist: Marc M Gusta
Project: Labyrinths

Important: Please click here to enlarge the image and see both heaven and hell in their true glory.
Welcome back to the Marc M Gusta’s Labyrinths. This Wednesday brings something very special indeed. A few weeks ago Marc took us on a trip through hell in part I of his Heaven and Hell Labyrinth (bottom half of the image above).
This week the eagerly awaited sequel has turned up in our inbox and we just can’t wait to show everyone. We challenge you to conquer your fears and overcome the troubling tests and trials as you journey from the depths of hell to the heights of heaven.
Part II (top half) takes you, the adventurer, through the gates of heaven and out into infinity. We really love the way mark has depicted the uncertainty of what lies past death, what awaits us in heaven and beyond. Take your time, you will make it through and the rewards will be grand.
The true magic of this labyrinth is that as well as working as individual labyrinths, the two parts join together (as above) to make one immense puzzle, please click here to enlarge and see both heaven and hell in their true glory.
Creature has never seen anything like this, it is truly groundbreaking artwork, impact, intricacy, intensity, intrigue, interaction… and so on, it really does blow our tiny minds.
We challenge you to interact with Marc’s art, take a break from your daily routine and try to solve these mind bending puzzles, make it through the tests and trials as you journey from the depths of hell to the heights of heaven.
We’ll see you at the gates. Don’t lose yourself!

Welcome back to the M Gusta’s Labyrinths. Every other Wednesday Marc will be challenging the readers of Creaturemag with a new Labyrinth. This time Marc takes us to Hell and back in his Heaven and Hell Labyrinth pt1: Infierno. Beware of The Great Golden Demon. We encourage you to interact with his art, take a break from your daily routine and try to solve these mind bending puzzles and make it through the Labyrinth alive! Take care and beware of The Great Golden Demon.

Marc M Gusta – The Labyrinth Of The Great Crocodile
Artist: Marc M Gusta
Project: Labyrinths
Website: marcmgusta.blogspot.com
This week Creature would like to introduce a new feature from the mind/ pen of regular creature contributor, artist and illustrator Marc M Gusta. Every other Wednesday Marc will be challenging the readers of Creaturemag with a new Labyrinth, illustrated in his very distinctive style with characters, monsters, pitfalls and puzzles for you to try and wrap your head around.
Two weeks ago we came up against crazy clowns, monsters, zombies and slides to oblivion (click here to see the last Labyrinth), this week we are pitted against reptiles as we navigate through the narrow rivers of “The Labyrinth Of The Great Crocodile”.
We have not been able to feel our way wound this one yet without being eaten by the crocs, but whether or not you complete the labyrinth is not the point, the idea is that we all have fun and interact with this piece of art, have a little break from our daily routine and disappear into Marc’s mind for a few minutes, or more…. Don’t lose yourself!
Look out for more of Marc’s Labyrinths every other Wednesday.
