About the Anti Folk Festival
The event is organised by Anti folk UK (AFUK) myspace.com/antifolkuk which was formed in 2004 with the aim of putting on UK music nights with a DIY ethic and community feel. Now with a few festivals under their belt and a strong networked community of collaborating musicians who support / perform together regularly, AFUK goes from strength to strength.
Here are some images from Festivals past:
AFUK Says:
Anti folk is a rediscovery of the ethics behind song writing and a reaction against rigidity and conservatism in music. It provides a platform for some of the most innovative, imaginative and unusual songwriters from London and beyond to find an audience.
