This week we have the pleasure of celebrating Happy Friday with two great illustrations from our Happy Friday contributors, Nikki Pinder and Kate Eggleston-Wirtz.
HAPPY FRIDAY…. We hope you enjoy the show!
This corpse looks like how I felt this weekend, like a Creature straight out of the Secret Garden Party. It is a magnificent piece.
Once again Marc Gusta has been busy will his friends collaborating on some new corpses. This time he teams up with his Brother, Bernat and his friend Edu Castells to form a dream team of collaborating artists. They are a prolific and talented bunch who have pretty much taken on the Exquisite Corpse as their own personal project.
We love their penetrating investigations, their minds seem to expand further with each contribution and they are very adept at letting go and allowing their insides to pour out onto paper.
Welcome to a brand new feature here on Creaturemag. Sharing a slot with Chris Getliffe every other Tuesday will be Thom Kofoed and Steven Jarvis. These guys will be collaborating on a project they call “The inside thoughts of now”. This series of posts will consists of bi-weekly pieces of merged art and writing created especially for Creaturemag by these thoroughly good people.
We love this first contribution from Thom and Steven, entitled “Make Me Feel”. We wont let on too much about our thoughts on the piece as we don’t want to dilute your interpretation. We hope you enjoy investigating it.
For a bit about the artists:
Artist: Ollie Stone
Project: Freak of the week
Welcome back Creature’s, we have been at The Secret Garden Party. It was brilliant, to say the least. We will be putting out an article soon. In the mean time back to the daily grind with a slightly different type of camping!
We are pleased to introduce to you this weeks wrestling bear and closet homosexual, “Senor Sparkles”. We’re not entirely sure of this guy’s fighting technique but OMG he is wearing those accessories. You go!
We hope you enjoy the show!
